Piper follows Curie and Danse's glance to the Prydwen, and she frowns while she looks up at the airship. She has seen Brotherhood Scribes coming to Diamond City after the fall of the Institute, and after the Mayor left the city. And she lowers her head for a little bit, and she sighs. "We might have the new boogeyman floating right above us. And I worry sometimes that one day Maxson will send in the troops to take over Diamond City."

There seems to be more reason to why Piper wants those two to find a vault, and as hateful as the people of the city are they don't deserve living under the thumb of Maxson. That is if they don't follow him blindly.

"Just whatever you two do, just keep safe and maybe I'll see you two again." She smiles, and she wanders over towards their brahmin. "And don't worry, I'll make sure Blue behaves himself."
